mutli-cultural potluck

The flyer at work says I should bring a multi-cultural dish. What should I bring? I know a petri dish would be the cheap answer but I'm leaning toward lefse with taco seasoning. What says ATOT?

Work events never really mean it when they say they want "multi-cultural dishes." What they really mean is they want to bring something other than pasta salad, but that they've heard of and are familiar with (or at least looks safe and non-threatening). Basically something you'd find in the food court or a "fusion ethnic" place like P.F. Chang's. Fried rice is good, spicy duck tongues or braised beef tendons are bad.

meatballs + chili sauce + grape jelly in crockpot for 6 hours on low. done

or get some perogies, samosas, egg rolls, or something like that.

Popeyes Chicken... Swear to got, two people brought that once for a multi-cultural thing -- I brought Rice Krispee squares (asshole). I was not complaining, except it was so popular that it went fast.

Haha, multi-cultural dish? If something is, for example, Kenyan, how will that be considered multi-cultural? A bit confused. But it sounds good.
