Are you sure about the rebate? It doesn't mention is anywhere.

EDIT: Yes it does. Never mind...I'm blind :) Good deal!

EDIT II: Strange, but Mustek doesn't have this scanner on it's product list, and I can't find any info on Windows 2000/XP support. Can't find any reviews on this particular scanner either...was this made especially for HSN?

OK, it's a 1200cu (which isn't listed in Mustek's products directly...wierd). Anyway, it got mixed reviews on Amazon:

So-So Reviews

but, for $14.90 after shipping, it's not a bad deal.

Does anyone have a copy of the web page at HSN.com that stated the $20.00 rebate. HSN is claiming they never posted anything on the page about a rebate. I did not make a copy. Can anyone help out.......

Did you already recieve the scanner and find no info on rebate?
The rebate info was mentioned on the second? last line of the scanners feature as I too ordered.

you are correct nothing in or on the box about rebate. A call to hsn and said they never had any info on the website about rebate. But if I had a copy of the page they would review

I ordered this scanner on July 23rd. I received it on the 27th without any information about the rebate I saw on the site. When I called customer service that same day, the rep checked the site. I was told that I was right and that the rebate info should have been included. The guy said he'd mail the rebate form out to me immediately. I'm still waiting on it... I'm calling customer service again tomorrow and if they tell me I need to show them the page with the info, I'm gonna go crazy on a supervisor. :|

I just called HSN. My request for the rebate info was sent to the vendor on July 30th. "The rebate should be in the mail as we speak, just wait a few days on that." I asked about why some people hadn't received their rebate forms and were told that it was never on their webpage when obviously it was since I got it. He said he didn't know, but the page no longer showed a rebate. However, if there was one, then I should be able to get info regarding it by contacting Mustek at their warranty number, (949)790-3800. You might wanna try calling that number on Monday when they're open and asking them about the mysterious disappearing rebate.

fyi: I called them today and instead of sending me a rebate form, they credited my account with $20.00. I couldn't get them to credit my CC w/ the money. Good luck guys.

Just got an email offering $20 credit for my next order.
Seems fair except when you realize their site only has 3 products [Ok, maybe more but the selection is very small, ie 13 dvds in the dvd movie section]
They should offer a refund to my credit card
