Already have a boring Audi etron SUV. Driving it makes me yearn to get behind the wheel of my mid engine supercar. It's the one segment that will never fully go EV.
What about hybrids? I mean you were looking at Artura.

You bought the wrong EV. Not all of them are as lame as the e-tron.

You're right. They are different flavors of lameness out there in EV land. It happens every once in awhile.
It happens...don't feel bad about it. I spent way more than you did on a Ford but just like you I live with the decision that I made.:)

If I understood what you were getting at, I'm sure I would have a delightfully witty response.

This thread is about a performance vehicle very much the polar opposite of any yawn inducing normie traffic EV.

I love performance assisted hybrids. The Huracan successor would be high on my list.
Of course jury is still out on this car but it does sound impressive. Eventually supercars are going to be EVs.

As to money no object crowd, there are these

Warren Buffett owns like 40% of BYD voting share.

The E-Ray is pretty sweet to. I keep looking for one at my local Chevy dealer but they are hard to find.

From the article:
I asked Mate Rimac about the powertrain choice when we met in Zagreb a week before the launch. “I’m fully convinced that normal transport will go electric,” he says. “It just makes more sense. But there will be very specific niches where combustion is going to stick around for a lot longer than people think. It's just something that people are emotional about." This is something I rediscovered when I recently test-drove the Maserati MC20. "Also, certain brands will have a hard time differentiating themselves without having a combustion engine because that's what they built their heritage on. So going electric will be difficult for them.”
Some people get it. Most will not.
