Heh... any car with a spoiler in this crowd is a ricer. They see a race car with a spoiler and they instantly... ooooooooooooh ricer!

I think it looks amazing. Maybe tone down the wing though.

Interesting...

One question, does this use a rotary engine, because a little argument in the middle of the thread threw me off.

The windsor is an 0ld 5.0 L v8 used in the infamous 5.0 mustang. I THINK it is a DOHC, but I don;t remember.

Appearantly the Windsor is pretty much bulletproof.

The old 5.0l windsor is not a DOHC eninge. This 5.0l is based on the modular engine family (4.6l and 5.4l) so it probably is a DOHC engine.

The wing is ugly but its a freaken race car people

Why the hell did people say that this concept car was using a rotary then:confused:?

"In the minds of the motoring public, the Mustang is just a thinly-veiled race car"

BWHAHAHAHAHAH thinly vailed race cars. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

If I remember correctly Roush won't even use Ford's IRS(Cobra) in fears that it can't handle a track day.

Someone confused Windsor with Wankel.

is that the windsor motor?

Nope, it's a DOHC modular.

Well, they don't say what it is other than the fact that it is a 5.0l V8. The term crate engine leads me to believe that it is some form of the old pushrod V8 that was in the Mustang until '95. I could be wrong though.

It's Ford's new "5.0 Cammer" crate motor. Which, like I said before, is a DOHC modular motor.

Link for people who have no idea what they're talking about but want to question me anyway.

Putting a wing like that on a FWD car? Not enough horsepower to back up any kind of spoiler? then yes.....rice.....
.
I do have respect for cars that drive as good as they look...If they do not, then I call "rice". There are plenty of Japaneese cars that fall into that category. However, the majority of ones I've seen in the states do not.

Someone confused "Windsor" with "Wankel". I am not sure how they got that confused though....

Me too....they are like night and day

THey almost had me convinced too.

<-Knows a little about cars, but not enough to be 100% sure. I kew that the WIndsor was a v8 100%, but as for this new one, I better read up so I don't get coersed into idiocy by imbesels again:(
