I think they could lower the wing a bit, keep it, but make it lower to the back.

Otherwise - Wow! 500hp in a stock car, that thing isn't going to be affordable. I love the looks of it, I love the muffler on the side and the black hood, and I like that they covered the back windshield (I don't like the back windshield on the standard models, takes away from the look of the '69, which didn't have back windshields).

Ford sells amazing crate motors, and like one said "you can build one w/ that power for 15k" well, stock power always costs more than aftermarket power. You know why? Because they have to add the cost of working on the engine/building costs/labor. Not to mention crate motors come with tons of furthur potential.

Rice or not, this car will kick *everythings* ass, stock vs stock. And don't go on about how for the cost of this car you can make an aftermarket '85 mustang gt perform just as well, that's comparing watermelons to apples. You can build a house yourself much cheaper than buying one pre-made, same with cars. The labor costs all the extra money, that and speciality of the car itself.

I'm thinking $90,000 easily...Time to ask mom to let me into their bank account ^_^

That car is sweetness. I'd drive it, with a big fat smile on my face. : drool;
And for all the dumbasses talking about the wing.... Do you not understand the concept of "Mustang GT-R concept is race ready"??

Do you not understand that these "dumbasses" are talking about it comestically, and not the actual benefits of the wing?

hotness.

I don't think this would be for hte consumers, More likely for privateers who'd like to race the thing in Grand AM, Can Am, and SCCA races.

Hell if the CTS-v is gonna race, might as well put in the 'Stang in GT class.

Nope, it's a DOHC modular.

Well, they don't say what it is other than the fact that it is a 5.0l V8. The term crate engine leads me to believe that it is some form of the old pushrod V8 that was in the Mustang until '95. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, some people seem to think form and functionality DONT go hand in hand... Like you can have an effective wing that looks like those trunk hugging Gram Am things.....
You know why planes have big wings? THEY NEED THEM! You know why cars have big wings (Well, some cars) THEY NEED THEM!!
