I highly doubt it since that area never had any hair follicles to begin with

^I have no idea wtf im talking about

Maybe I do:
Rogaine is believed to revitalize shrunken hair follicles so they increase in size, but how it exactly works is unproven. When it is used twice a day, the follicles may increase in size and the growing phase for the hair becomes longer.

How thick are you planning to let it get? It's looking better the more you let it grow in but I'm guessing you are going to top sometime before you look like this:

The intention was to get rid of it at the end of May, but if I'm being honest it's kinda growing on me (no pun intended). I think if I grow out the soul patch for a bit it might not look half bad, and it certainly gets a lot of attention. I'll see how I feel about it at the end of the month.
 
Amazing how fast you go from looking relatively normal to looking like a used car salesman. IMO get rid of it.
