MUST see tech demo....only 64kb!

oh, yeah, I'm gonna run an EXE posted by someone with less than 25 posts that has swearing in the readme... sure....
 
yes I have seen this demo before.. it is very cool that they pack all that 3d in the small file.. from what I understand the 64k file is only the geometry.. and it pulls the textures from windows its self..
the author of this program won some award for it too..
 
Amazing, so the 64kb is just sort of "scripting" the graphics? I can't believe they were able to fit the music in too. Wow. Makes me want to be a programmer 😉

Think it requires DX8 installed.

Demo coding is cool, I last looked into it 4-5 years ago, I must say, this stuff has gotten a LOT better since then.
 
heh, doesn't work for me, I have DX8 under WinXP, I think my Voodoo3 card just doesn't like to work. Probably time for an upgrade, eh?
