Although 0 bias is hard to fund in any news provider, cross referencing the same news item from multiple news providers or stations would make it more obvious that some news agencies are aligned very much with certain political views. This is not good for votes or for the public consensus or when the public consensus need to be manipulated. It is obvious.

And to the op, thank you for the documentary. I will watch it with interest.

Honestly, I think AlJazeera has more journalistic integrity than something like Fox News, but I would say that C-Span is really where it's at. No editing, no commentary.

The concept of "freedom of speech" is really a critical aspect of the US Constitution. Certainly something most Republicans are willing to abolish if they don't like the information they hear.

BTW, Al-Jazeera is not a synonym with Al-Queda.
