As for the RAM, why only 512 and why the expensive stuff? You could have gotten 2x512 value RAM for <$100. That RAM is for OC'ers.

If you plan on upgrading your mobo in 6 months. I suggest that you keep good backups of your critical data. Because when you upgrade the mobo you should reformat your hard drives, swapping mobos without reformatting is always trouble.
