On the contrary, as evidenced by your continued evasion of a simple answer, it's apparently a very good question.

Good questions are those that don't get answers because they are too vague or ill-defined? Holy shit. You're a moron.

Yes, I agree...I think in this case though, I'm not sure what else there could be. Either one is born with it, or, life's circumstances form you into something not normal (hetero). I guess one could argue that since it's the brain that ultimately decides what you identify with, someone with a completely normal upbringing could in fact physiologically, and not by social circumstance, turn not-hetero. Again though, as I think we agree, it doesn't matter.

Actually, I meant the part where you said it shouldn't matter wrt rights.

When your base is less informed than a chimp flipping a coin, it doesn't bode well to act too uppity and rub facts and intelligent shit in their face.

Sigh.

Have gay people ever turned straight?

Yes or no. This isn't vague or ill-defined.

I, part your audience, am telling you that this is vague and ill-defined. If you care at all about getting an answer, expand on what you are asking so someone can answer your question.

Or continue to be a dumbnuts about it and assume that getting no answer is "telling".

Also, here's a point about this question, at best you'll get an anecdote about this and what does that actually tell you? Do you just think that gay is an absolute state? I don't want to blow your mind, but there are also bisexual people. They're going to fuck up your whole meaningless categorizations.

I will answer that since everybody else is not because they believe you are trying to trick them.

No, no gay person has ever "turned" straight.
I would argue that any case anybody who had identified as gay but who preferred women over men, would in fact be neither gay nor straight, but some place in between.

Now, the answer to the prison scene, I suspect many of the folks in prison who engage in gay actions, are in fact straight. There is a severe shortage of women in prisons, because male criminals are given longer sentences, and generally more males wind up in prison, also, prisons are usually segregated by gender. People still have hormones, even if theres a shortage of womenfolk.

So, what you may see as "somebody turned GAY its a choice", I would say "Nature is taking its obvious course."

BurnItDown, the three former gays I know didn't just think they preferred their own sex, they were in long term relationships with them - they truly were gay. So yes, gays who truly are gay have turned straight...or in the case of the one, she's mildly Bi.

Seriously, stop. It's embarrassing you believe this. More then likely all three were bi, not gay or straight.

Remember, its very important that candidates reflect the make up of their party's supporters. So... Pretty much.

I know this is hard for you to understand, but, when someone says in one year that they're as gay as can be, zero interest in the opposite sex, and then a year/years (depending on which one we're talking about) they work through/deal with issues and realize they were molested/raped, and end up realizing after a period of years that they really are not gay any longer...

...I don't know why I wouldn't believe them. Your level of deep thoughts is always impressively hilarious, but, can you share how you now know peoples inner workings that you've never met? I eagerly await your entertaining answer...

P.S. I don't mean impressing your inner desires (ex. your desire to be a sub to a black guy), I mean there's. Thx.

Sure they have, at least for some values of gay. It's apparently practically mandatory in British public schools, not to mention the whole "LUG" thing. People are not binary creatures.

It's also, as Atomicplayboy pointed out, a meaningless distinction. If the most flaming flamer in the history of Flametown got that way by flipping coin, or by a stack of gay genes one could see with a loupe, it makes absolutely no difference to anyone here.

More or less (mostly more):

we are so fucked in this country (world).

Neither party gives a shit about their constituents. They care about that fat cash from Comcast and AT&T, BP and Pfizer, and whatever local contractor needs to evade some environmental permits and dump some toxins in the river.

They only use the "social" issues to get the extreme ends of the political spectrum riled up, ignoring the 95% of us in the middle who have varying views. I don't think either side really believes in their social issues much at all.

(I probably think the Dems believe more, but I tend to lean a bit conservative and it's likely my bias and disgust with the turdapples in the GOP showing. Plus the Dems have done precisely jack & shit when they had power, the ACA is a colossal fuckup and handout to the big bribers, I mean, donaters, and they did zippity do da for workers so fuck them too. The Repubs are supposedly prolife but are busy *completely* gutting any sort of social welfare programs, calling things like SS "entitlements" -- yes I'm fucking entitled, quit taking money from me you assholes -- pissing money away on the War Department and the military industrial complex, gunning for the death penalty, etc etc. Yes, I'm registered Independent, why do you ask?)
