No they are not at all. The only way to 'kill its spirit' is to use freedom of speech to attack freedom of speech directly. Protesting against an aggressive war, no matter how distasteful it is, is perfectly fine, atleast within US law. Its our first amendment, and it applies no matter you are a naturalized immigrant or the son of an immigrant (We call those 'Native Born')

Socio specifically said he would deny rights to immigrants (he hasn't been clear on descendents of immigrants, who IMO are just as native as he is).

I agree with you, I only hope wish the Arab/Muslim protagonists living in countries where these freedoms are guaranteed would also heed your advice when it comes to depicting Mohammed in cartoons, for example. Or when people are supporting Israel in Sweden. Freedom of speech should cut both ways, shouldn't it?

As I said, these guys are a bunch of misfits, just like Hitler and his cohorts were, who are chumping the system.
