So I will ask you the same question, Should we be required to change our behavior to accommodate them?
To a certain point yes, society should change to adapt to changing needs.
So I will ask you the same question, Should we be required to change our behavior to accommodate them?
I detest Muslims anyhow, and we don't need them in our space. Closed-minded fucks who wish to push their Shariah law onto us lol..
I'm mesmerized.
This is an ongoing problem, and not a single event.
The festival has long had Christian missionaries in attendance, and there werent any tensions in the past. However, that changed in 2009 after aggressive new groups of missionaries started to arrive.
The opening post of the thread ask if Muslim Extremists could happen in the U.S.A.?
The example I provided of the lady suing the hospital, and various other lawsuits, are examples of how radical islam is going to force our society to conform to what they want.
It's basic fact.
Oddly enough the festival was held for years (at least over a decade) without issue - with many Christians (and jews and atheists) in attendance. It might be hard for you to admit but the problems only started when both sides started spewing hateful rhetoric.
A culture of hate is solid in the AnandTech P&N forums.I detest Muslims anyhow...
Have you watched any videos about festival?
Did you notice the people creating the problems were young men?
A culture of hate is solid in the AnandTech P&N forums.
Other sites have the decency to deter the fostering perpetuation of this culture of absolute hatred and marginalisation against a targeted group, this one tolerates extremism under a banner "free speech."
In a forum that is the antithesis of a welcoming and managed placed for reasonable discussion, the P&N actively encourages the marginalised extremism of society to come to the forefront to browbeat and discourage reasonable voices of the majority from entering into this cesspool. The P&N is not a accurate reflection of society.
Brownshirts are present.
Rampant xenophobia, and supremacist bigotry, are repeatedly expected.
It's a repeated circle for those extremists who have found a welcoming forum that is strongly admonished at most -- if not every -- other public tech sites.
I'm mesmerized.
This is one of the leaders of the radicals who states he wants to take over

If you watch the videos some of the people even mocked Jesus. This is totally unacceptable.
I detest Muslims anyhow, and we don't need them in our space. Closed-minded fucks who wish to push their Shariah law onto us lol..
WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK, you ignorant wise and beautiful woman.
Jesus can suck my hairy balls.
there
There is much irony in this statement.
you're cute.
😀
Why don't you go to a group of Christians and say it right to their face?
Have you watched any videos about festival?
Did you notice the people creating the problems were young men?
Kudos to you for knowing to double-down when you've got eleven.
Not only have I watched the videos but I have been to the festival. If you think those videos show the whole story you are grossly misinformed. Its the ideological hotheads on both sides that have ruined what used to be a fantastic festival and cultural exchange. Any attempt to wholly or mostly blame one side for this issue not only speaks to an unusually excessive amount of ignorance but only serves to widen the divide between the cultures.
I hope the move next year to a different location lessens the tension and removes the desire by both sides to import hotheads looking to create a scene
lol.. Jesus said to turn the other cheek, didn't He? lol..
And? look, people aren't consistent. I have family who are Muslims, and I don't detest them since they're family. Should I hate my own family members? hmm?
Eh?
Either you're blinded to reality, or don't realise that most Muslims detest our values and want to overthrow us.
