Europe doesn't need to take immigrants from ME, I'm sure there are many from Asia who would love the opportunity to immigrate. I think the trick to proper integration of immigrants is to spread it out equally. The larger the immigrant population from one area, the more likely they are to keep their traditions and values. Not allowing them to congregate in areas might also help. So no "little <some other country>" within you cities.

Interesting, if they were instruction for a certain group of people at a certain time then why do people use the bible to try to make public policy today? Shouldn't those irrelevant teachings of the past be left in the past?

How is it false equivalency? Isn't what Texashiker also being used out of context? Waging war against the Messenger and Allah is not something that is happening right now, it's something that happened in the past.

EDIT: For the record, I don't associate with any religions including Atheists/Agnostics. I am just in the group that says "I don't know" and leaves it at that but it's hilarious to watch Christians/Jews/Muslims go at each other like one is better then the other.

As far as I knew this thread was about the here and now, and not what happened hundreds or even thousands of years ago.

As per the thread title, "could Muslim Extremists happen in the US?"

My answer is yes, and they are already here.

To backup my statement I posted several examples, a couple being Dearborne Michigan and the Boston Bombings.

Then we have the attempted bombing of times square as another example. And the attempted bombing of a train in Canada as another example.

Europe wasn't built on immigration like the US was, I dont see why people view it as a MUST that Europe has to allow it in the first place. I understand they have a negative birth rate and all, but immigration is a tricky subject and usually doesn't work as well as we would like.

Immigration is not like upping taxes where you can reverse the tax rate to be lower 10 years down the road, if your immigrant population isn't working out, well guess what you are stuck with them [the Muslim ghettos in France and UK are good examples of being "Stuck" with them and Muslims are surely not working out for those countries].

If you look at Japan there have numerous calls from various places saying that they NEED immigrants or else *insert bad thing here* will happen to their economy...So far they have looked at Europe and just laughed at it the idea of mass immigration, putting your national culture at risk by importing foreighners is not worth it for a few extra $ in your economy..

Of course Europe is different from Japan, white guilt is a pretty damn powerful thing. Being anti-immigration in Europe = automatic racist, despite the fact that the same folks who will label such a person that over immigration will in the next sentence talk about "free Tibet" and how Han Chinese shouldn't move there and all since it is "Tibetan land" [hypocrites much?].

Liberals will sacrifice our freedoms in the name of political correctness. Radical muslims do no want equal rights, they want to kill whoever does not live under shaira law.

The gay rights issue is nothing compared to the coming war. Times square, boston,,, its just going to get worse.

The drone attacks in the middle east are breeding a new type of war. A holy warrior who is going to bring the battle to our front yard.

You think the battle for gay rights is bad now, just wait until bombs are set off during a gay rights march.

Even though gays and conservatives disagree on certain issues, we pretty much leave each other alone to live our life in peace. We are dealing with a group of people who think the only solution is to kill those who oppose them.

most of the sites are ones I haven't seen before or obvious anti-Muslim sites. The link I found to BBC (2001) seems to indicate there are areas where whites get attacked but also that the police are active in that area. Weird they label ME immigrants as Asians. Blog from Guardian also seems to indicate this is bogus. So UK media conspiracy to deny the truth?

Their country is also suffering from a long stagnant economy, the population is increasingly elderly and the birthrate is incredibly low.

The bible is just as violent as the Quran, just that the people who follow the bible do it loosely. The bible promotes women as being garbage too and you see women being "devout" Christians. Religion is garbage.
