The funny thing is that I know individual Muslims who are really great people. However, as a cultural force, the rise of extremist Islam is not only disgusting, it is a serious threat to the Western way of life.

But, of course - their coverage of NATO's and British operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, while many times more ruthless than Israel's - is romanticized, glorified. Every time a UK soldier dies he gets his own special BBC headline newspage, while every innocent civilian that is gunned down by the British army is either minimized or ignored.

Sorry to say - but Britain has been complicit in war crimes, killing children, very liberal R.O.E as confirmed by Richard Kemp and others within the defense establishment.

British citizens need to get a taste of their own medicine. This self-righteousness needs to end. We are all human beings, Europeans aren't better than Israelis, Arabs, Muslims, Americans, etc.

Understand that we are approaching a junction in history as clear as that which preceded any war.

The tricky part of this conflict is seeing if we can make it through with our lives and values intact. I don't really see what rational end goal the terrorist hope to accomplish. Are they just trying to get a high tally of kills? Would they be happy if the west become fascist in effort to control extremist?

Yea pretty hypocritical of them to say...Technically they are imposing thier culture and beliefs on a non-Muslim society, since that is the UK they are living in afterall. Frozen pork sounds too much like a weapon. I like the idea of nice, safe, squishy bacon strips arriving at high velocity - although the mental picture of the protesters being chased by men waving pork chops still makes me laugh.
