Am I missing the MP3's or is this site WMA only?

Still a good deal for legal music download.

Thanks, I was hoping for another good sale from them. Last time when they went jumped up to .90 cents I stopped downloading.

Yeah, and too bad my ___insert any non-apple brand mp3 player here___ can't play AAC files.

I checked that site and most stuff was .30 which is still a great deal considering you can get 3 songs for the price of 1 anyplace else. Unfortunatly the selection seems to be fairly small and the few I tried to preview hung up badly just trying to buffer. So I guess they are saving the money on their end by reduced server overhead.

I don't think their selection is too bad. Thanks for the heads up. I think their idea of "dynamic pricing" is interesting.

can someone explain to me how to transfer downloads from one PC to another? The license backup/restore always results in a message "the parameter is incorrect" message and a link to Microsoft that says "sorry no help is available". I'm really trying to do this all legal-like, but it is a real PITA so far:disgust:

WMA blows. All the CRM will screw you even after you have legally paid for it. It won't allow you to play it on another computer.

hey dudleydocker

did you ever get an answer to your question...

I cam across the same problem, you need to be using the same Windows Media Player on both computers.

probably best to use Windows Media Player 9 for both machines

i was trying to transfer from and 8.0 ver to 9 and i received the same error message.

good luck

Yes, you can burn them to CD (I made 3 CDs last night). I had to use WMP 9 with the crappy Roxio plugin b.c. using the plugin provided by Nero wouldn't work. I was limited to burning them at 2x, but it worked. If anyone has a method of getting the Nero plugin to burn these files to CD, please post how you did it.

EDIT: Is there any way to see how many file transfers/burns to CD are left for each file. Some were unlimited, but a few had only 3 opportunities to burn to a CD.

Yeah, the machines have two different versions of WMPlayer 8.0 and 9.0..so I'll update the 8.0 and see what happened.

The reply I got from MusicRebellion support was pretty funny......"yeah, we see that error message a lot. It's a Microsoft problem...check with them." :disgust:

Thanks for the help!
