Music

I am big on music, as some may know. Although I don't have the widest variety of music on my computer, I do enjoy a wide vareity (I can enjoy almost any music). I have updated my site (t®îÞÞ¥) - it had a list of bands and a list of songs I could play. The list of bands was no good cause I added some bands other poeple said were good, even though I didn't know them. so I took care of that, all the bands there I have songs/cds of and I like in one way or another or at one time or another. The songs I can play (guitar) are highlighted in blue!

BTW, this isn't a page for web design, it's just a page to have a list on, so don't criticize the plainness.

How many of you like similar music?

edit: linky fixed

That's not fixed, its /songs.html.. I wrote songs2.html accidentally cause it was an updated page. My bad. It's not just .com, that's not the site in focus.

I reguarly listen to 15 bands on that list.

BTW you really should try listening to Nightwish, Tristania, Morgion, Clawfinger, My Dying Bride, Stratovarius, Dissection and In Flames 🙂

Nightwish, Tristania, Morgion, Clawfinger, My Dying Bride, Stratovarius, Dissection and In Flames

copy/pasted, will check out when I have some time, thanks. 🙂

BTW, I just figured out "I Got A Girl" by Tripping Daisy.. gotta update the page! 🙂

You've got good taste 🙂. Similar to me.

If you want pure class artists, get your mits on some Neil Finn and some Paul Kelly. Powderfinger is also good as well as Something For Kate.

Powderfinger I've been meaning to check out.

Yes I listen to The Tragically Hip ... I don't know why it's not on the list. Guess it wasn't in my playlist. 😛 One of my favorite tragically hip songs is Poets, don't ask me why!

BTW some more bands in my playlist:

Blind Guardian, Cradle of Filth, Dark Tranquility, Dawn of Dreams, Dimmu Borgir, EverEve, Korn, Opeth, Demons and Wizards, Sentenced, Silverchair, Slipknot, Soulfly, The Gathering, Theatre of Tragedy, Therion.

Hopefully that are enough bands to satisfy your need for music for a while 🙂

Never heard of most of them. 🙂
You reminded me of Soulfly.. thanks, I gotta get some of their songs, or maybe a CD.

Gaddam, where have I been, I've only heard of 3 of Elledan's little playlist there. And I'm on a first name basis with the people at my local record bar. Ah well, all the more listening to do. 🙂

Hang on, make that 4.

you need some electronical music and then i'll maybe consider your list. For now, i only see about 5% that is good in the entire list.

danny~!

Dan,

Well then, given your comment - you need to learn to appreciate talent and good music. Good for you that you like a certain type, but there's definitely more than 5% of good music on there.

BTW, I downloaded a Blind Guardian song. Wow, pretty damn kickass! I think I'll go for another one, and maybe a Powderfinger. Where can I find this stuff in stores?

I need to see some Pantera, drowning Pool, Slipknot, Static X, Mudvayne and other IN YA FACE music on these lists....😎 I like where Elledan is comin from...

CFH

You had some golden oldies on there with a couple of glaring absenses, The Doors and Jimmy Hendrix.

I went to Rammstine concert last night, a group call Godhead opened for them, I am not sure if you can find any of their music but they but on a pretty good show, sorta Techo-goth.

Yeah danny, 5% is pretty lame. I like lots of bands on that list, and even some of the bands/artists that I don't like on that list, I can still appreciate their talent. Oh and I think electrical music is totally gay because I don't see much raw talent going into that.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Well, I'm ripping my OK Computer (Radiohead if you don't know) CD to my computer (320kbps 48Hz MP3s using LAME encoder). Just one thing. It goes track 6 then track 8. So 11 total. But EAC extracted 12 tracks. What do I do? lol.

Oh damn, I didn't realize how track 7 was. DOH! Nevermind that completely and utterly stupid question!

By the way, you can hear me play if you want. It's crap, it was recorded at 5am when I was bored, giddy and bored.. so excuse the cheapness of play, I'm not normally that bad. 🙂 And also excuse the lack of quality, i'm using a microphone and an adapter to plug it into the comp and put the mic near the amp, so it doesn't pick up THAT great. But neway, just miscellaneous bits of songs played in there. enjoy! or not 🙂
