How about Tangerine Dream, or even better: Aphrodite's Child? -kd5-

Bonus: If you can guess who the driving force was behind Aphrodite's Child, you win the kd5 Bozo Button!

Vangelis Pappathanassiou and the ever thin Demis Roussos. :D I still listen to 666 once every few months. Brings back high school memories.

VDGG sounded like a mix of 1969-70 King Crimson & Genesis. :)

How about Focus?

Hocus Pocus (Focus)

Dennilfloss, now it's your turn to blow my mind! Although Demis Roussos played a very large part in the creation of 666, I was thinking more along the lines of Vangelis Papathanassiou. I guess I should've worded it more carefully. You win the kd5 Bozo Button......... now where did I put that d*mned thing? Sh*t, I'm gonna have to go look for it.

While I'm looking, have you heard Vangelis O., Earth? -kd5-

Hehe. I thought of Vangelis and took so long to type that your post came before my edit. LOL

"And when the Lamb opened the first seal..."

No, I haven't heard Earth.

"Good God, we are talking about Music Made before a good portion of this membership was even born"

Hehe Red Dawn,

Liked the Andrew sisters, didn't you? ;)

Giorgio made a lot of electronic disco for Boney M and Donna Summer (e.g. the Bad Girls album) in the late 70s. He also made more serious music (e.g. The Chase, from Midnight Express).

Autobahn (Kraftwerk)

I love rock & roll....put another dime in the jukebox baby.....

Red Dawn--No matter what the volume, this always rocks crisp and clean on my system. I never would have chosen this as a song to show off a system. Any idea why it sounds so good?
