A couple months ago I got the idea to invite Kansas City area musicians over and see if we could write and record a song in one day.

After a couple false starts, we finally got off the ground and I've been amazed by what we've accomplished. So I thought I would share.

I would describe "I Don't Care" as radio/modern rock. While "Golden Lotus" is much more metal/stoner rock.

Each song is a completely different group of musicians (except for me). And all future sessions will have new, or at least a different mix of previous musicians.

I also setup a Facebook page if you want to see what we do in the future. The next one is scheduled for the 18th.

Thanks for checking it out. I play guitar on those two recordings. I can also play bass if you need to good root notes.

I Don't Care, IMO is the best track of the two. Golden Locust is the most ambitious, but needs some help with vocals.

Cool project, I might consider doing something like this myself. I own a modest home studio, but could definitely accommodate large groups. Thanks for the idea.
