Music out of order on Touch

So, this is weird, I know, but I have my CD's arranged into smart playlists so I don't have to deal with the 8 zillion other cd's that only have one song on them when i want a full cd. Well, recently for some reason all my music on those playlists is out of track order and i have no idea why, nor how to fix it. I tried connecting my iPod to my computer but when i open the playlist up on there it's in order. What's going on? Any idea?

Do you have shuffle turned on?

No, like the songs within the smart playlists are not in track order, and they used to be. Idk what's going on. Shuffle is off, so wtf, they should stay in order. They play in the order they are in the playlist, too bad it's wrong.

So, the playlist on the PC is in order 1,2,3,4,5. The same playlist, but on your Touch is in order 5,2,4,3,1.

I ran into this problem once, what I did then was on iTunes, sort the playlist by something else. Sync. See if that made any change. If it did, then resort the playlist on iTunes how you want it, and Sync. If it didn't, then take that playlist off the Touch, Sync, put it back on the list of things to sync, Sync.

Hmm. Well I manually manage my music tho, to my dismay. I have like thre big playlists that i don't wanna have to reorder if i just wiped it and synced with my computer. Maybe one day i'll stop being lazy and do that, but until then I'm manually managing. And it's all my playlists, so i'm not sure if it'll work. I'll try going through them and changing the sort, unplug my ipod, and plug it back in and go back to numerical and see what happens tho.

Dammit. Didn't do anything. I tried deleting the playlist and creating a new one too, didn't work either. Wtf is going on, this is so weird, and so annoying.
