I'm look for a program that can:

- sync with ipod shuffle (and sync with only 1 playlist out of my entire music library)
- mass retag MP3's
- mass move / rename MP3's (i.e. change all music to C:/Music/<artist>/<album>/artist - song.mp3)

Right now I use itunes + sharepod, but this requires two programs and is a big hassle.

I've tried media monkey (which has all those features), but there seem to be lots of compatibility issues and it causes my computer to crash. are there any good alternatives?

I've used mediamonkey for a while and haven't had a problem... but of course not with an apple who from what I understand doesn't play well with anything that's NOT itunes.
 
hmm, i'll try it again. it certainly seems like it shouldn't have problems, so i probably did something wrong...

anyone else have input?
 
I suggest you check this link for all your freeware iPod needs. I personally use floola to transfer my music which is great because it runs of your iPod. It does not do retagging I believe. Musicbrainz is a winner in this case, as is Mediamonkey.
