Only constructive criticism I have is the singing style... I sort of agree with illusion88. Other than that, which isn't even that bad, it's quite good.

edit: Not bad man, I like it. I agree about the voice thing, but it gives you a kinda unique sound, so it's not a huge deal.

It wasn't too bad. The more you sing the better you get. Anyway, I'm sure she'll like it.

It's better than a lot of the stuff on the radio, and while the cheese is layed on thick, she'll dig it.

Edit - also most of the great songs you've ever heard hide bad lyrics behind indecipherable singing. Yours are better than many of these songs.
