Scientists had perform the following experiment to our close relative: monkeys

They placed two buttons in front of them and train the monkeys to press the button. When one of the button is pressed, it plays a perfect harmony chord (a major). When the other button is pressed, it plays a chaotic chord, of which when played to human we know it sounds really bad.

Number of times each button is pressed is recorded. The monkeys shows no preference over one to another. This proves that their sense of music is different to human; if not inexistent.
