I don't know if this is a deal but here goes. Mushkin has the newly released Mushkin REV 3 222 $ 133. They also have the Mushkin REV2 PC133 CAS2, $8 shipping. I think this one may be a warm deal.

FreeIsFun,

I would actually have you look at crucial memory, which is currently going for $91.79 for the 128MB module which also runs at cas2 222 and is pc133 memory. Nice thing is, 2 day shipping (that's right 2 day) is free right now! If you want a 256mb stick of this same memory (the 7e module) it'll run you about 197.99, a little more expensive per meg but a lot more ram =)

Also one more tip, you can click on "edit" to edit your post to prevent posting multiple messages, that way you can go back later and add links to your original post if you want to =)

256 MB Crucial Cas2 PC133

128 MB Crucial Cas2 PC133

This is about as high quality as memory gets, and you'll spend less than the Mushkin. =)

still, Mushkin RAM is of interest to those who swear by it (e.g. me). Plus the Rev 3 is supposed to go even higher than Rev 2 so it will be interesting to see how far people will be able to push it.

I like Crucial too, just for the record, but I'm loyal to Mushkin because of their excellent chips and customer service!

Same here. Although Crucial sells great RAM, I swear by Mushkin RAM because I know they have excellent customer service and reviews.

can't go wrong with crucial/micron if you aren't planning on OC that board of yours to hell and back. btw, if you goto crucial.com/webpromo the ram prices are lowered. check it out :) 15% savings instantly

BTW, people have been getting 150-158 cas 2 w/ rev 2... 155 on my system, but my CPU was stopping me from going further. I personally can't justify paying more for some gimmicky ram

Madcowz, I am glad you also realize that Rev 3 is a marketing scheme :)

I've been taking my Crucial PC133 (7E) to 143 Mhz at Cas 2 without a hitch. That brings my PIII 933 to 1Ghz all day.

Crucial collects tax in 26 US states, rendering "free shipping" moot. Mushkin only collects tax in Colorado.

Two sticks of Crucial's 128MB -7E both running 144Mhz Cas2 (222) with PIII 700Mhz Cc0 stepping...1008Mhz!!! I bought them when they were $103+tax+shipping :( after 15% off. I'm thinking of buying another stick for $86+tax but, I heard that i815e chipset have instability with 3 sticks of RAM. I guess I'll stick to 256MB for now. Until DDR mem comes...wooohooo!!!

what about mushkin's rev1.5 deal pc133 128 for
$89 for this weekend? Is 1.5 much different than
there rev 2 for $118. Is it worth it?

Agreed, Guilty. I was going to buy the 256 meg stick linked earlier by divinemartyr, but I would've been charged over $16 in sales tax. :(
