Hey all,
I just got an email from a friend of mine that buys in bulk and he is offering to sell his memory at $130-$140 depending on how many we want.

If you don't know what this memory is....don't bother!
You won't know what to do with it.

This is Mushkin 128mb cas 2-2-2 pc-133 rev. 2.0! 😀

He hasn't told me yet if he can offer these great prices on the 256mb version yet....

Just found out we no 256 or any ecc.🙁

Southbound...no vc either right now..sorry.

Just 128 PC-133 @ 2-2-2 rev. 2.0

(like that sucks or something)😎

1 for southbound, 1 for simonsays, 1 for kitros.

He just emailed again and I think I will only get the 5 for now.(I'm buying two)
I will post if anybody drops out....

Looks like it will be $140 shipped. 😀

If you disagree with the email I got from them, call them.
You will see his # in the cut & paste I provided.

It's possible that they gave some green stuff for review,
but that's really not to be expected for the general masses.

But if you're as smart as you try to sound, you already know that.

Try to pass along a little info to some people that are interested and somebody has to have a problem with the messenger....go figure.

HardwareAddicted, do you really think that is the case? I happen to buy memory from the SAME distributor as Bill Mushkin. I happen to own some &quot;Mushkin rev2 high performance Mosel&quot; that was purchased from Mushkin a few months ago , and it is a green PCB. I have never seen a black Mosel PCB, an Infineon PCB, and a HSDRAM black PCB that Mushkin shows on their website. I know for a FACT the PCB was green on Mushkin's website a few weeks ago, and I am sure many people can attest to that FACT.

In addition, I have no issues with you personally, only the information you are trying to pass along to make a sale. As long as &quot;messengers&quot; provide accurate information there should be no problems in the future.

I got some Mushkin Rev. 2 memory from DJohn about a month ago from a group buy. The some of the PCB's were green and some were black. I don't know the difference between them but they all work fine.

I got a rev 2 PCB that is black, or DARK green.
*shrug* all the same, as long as it blazes along 🙂.
I see I missed this deal, if you get any more deals like that or some one drops, lemmie know.
Ill buy in a second.

I just gave this for your info, I don't have any Mushkin yet.

It is possible I will get the green stuff too.

But you must admit, at first I was asking myself who I should believe....

some guy on this forum (no offence), or the guy that works for Mushkin.

This is extreamly lucky for the guy that is sending me my stuff...
If thought it HAD to be black, and I got green it would have been real messy...

As for any info I provide this forum John, it is and always will be correct.
If I qoute somebody fyi, than it's for the forum to discuss.

Don't fry me for sharing something I got from the Mfg.
That wasn't ME saying that it HAD to be black, but MUSHKIN themselves.

Please be aware of the difference, it will save on many useless posts.

I am very glad I quoted Bob though, if had not, we wouldn't have got this additional info.
