Wow, I guess this is the price for 240s now. I keep wanting to buy more drives but I haven't even installed the last one yet.

FYI these are my favorite SSD's. I have dozens of them at work, they have the best track record out of all of the brands I've tried (OCZ, OWC, etc.). Low failure rate + consistent performance = great drives

I keep thinking 'wow, great price I should buy one', but my 64GB and 128GB SSDs are still ok, so by waiting I've saved a bunch of $, but my mind keeps saying "buy now buy now!"

lulz good call.. ididnt know we would be warned 4 days in advance for a 5$ off sale 😉 thnx.. so this is really the drive to get? ;P want a 480gb ssd or 240gbx2 been waiting for the right deal to jump

If you want 480GB best to get a single drive, I've seen some decent sales around $200 for the 480-512GB drives.

Edit:

In fact Newegg has a 10% off sale right now with the VME checkout thing...so there's some good drives (EVO/M500) around $230 in regular and MSATA flavor.

Heh. I thought about pulling the trigger this morning when I read about it at Slickdeals.net, but then I read the feedback and Newegg and several people complained about drives that died after a couple months.
