About the Mushkin-no reviews at Amazon or Newegg, no reviews at the Mushkin site. Anyone know anything about it? Three year warranty-which is a plus.

I've found no 3rd party reviews, but the claimed speeds are there on the product pages at NewEgg. I'm very tempted to get a couple 60's to get ZIL/ARC2 back on my ZFS pool.

Does it come with a tool that let's you transfer data like other SSD's?

Does anyone know when the 60gb will be in stock? I have an old 70gb IDE drive that I would like to replace and this seems like a nice option especially for the price.
My Mushkin thumb drive is awesome so I wouldn't mind trying out their SSDs.

Just pony up $15 more for the 120GB version.

Only some Samsungs come with that, that too is a iffy tool. You are always better off doing a fresh install. There are some other free tool too that will do that for you, like todo backup free, you are not entirely at manufacturer's mercy for that.

Alright I guess you have a point. I went ahead and grabbed the 120. It should make a nice replacement for the IDE drive I'm using now.
For the record this won't be used as my primary OS drive just a scratch drive for game captures, DRM removal, encoding, and just general testing.

I am guessing your OS is already on a SSD

I'm waiting for the 60GB to come into stock as well. Looks like an ideal drive to pick up to do budget upgrades for people on older PCs.

(I did manage to snag a few of those "refurb" Corsair Force LS 60GB drives for ~$35 ea, put one in a neighbor's machine recently. Unsure how it will do in that chore, since his OS is Vista, with no TRIM support.)

Prices seemed to have changed a bit since the OP posted? Just making sure I'm looking at the right thing.

Anyhow, I wonder how these compare to the Crucial M4's that are also posted here in the deals section. The 128GB model just came back in stock for the Crucials at 50 dollars...the Mushkin looks to be faster, but I wonder about reliability, firmware, etc? I've not heard much about Mushkin drives, but I know their RAM is highly regarded.

yup, excellent price, Crucial has also come out with cheap line, Samsung is struggling to keep up, this should be an interesting year for SSDs

Good price, but the 850 EVO is on sale or was last night, for 180 for the 500GB model.
