No motherboard manufacturer seems to list Mushkin memory in their compatibility lists, so how can I tell which board to get?

I found the Mushkin compatibility list a little out of date when I checked it out a few months ago.
I am using Mushkin PC3200 Level One (Black) on a GigaByte K8NNXP (AMD63 3000+) and it works brilliantly.

I have 2 x 512 Mushkin PC3500 Level One which is "Double Side" and runs perfectly on my MSI K8N Neo. Just be sure to read the motherboard manual. My K8N manual states that "Double Side" should be used on DDR slots (1-2) or (1-3) to obtain maximum DDR 400 speed.
