right now i got 128mb of mushkin rev.2 running @141-143 depending on what i have it set at during that time, i want to get some more ram, i only got about $60. the crucial ram seems a lot cheaper than the mushkin, but if i get some crucial cus its cheaper and combine it with my mushkin, would i see a considerable loss in performance? would it still get to 143mhz? also would i see a large noticeable difference from getting a 256 stick instead of a 128?

I tried it with DDR memory and it gave me problems with fsb speeds over 140 but with sdram, I never had a problem till I got to like 150......

If it's an Abit Board definately not. Alot of reports of Crusial not running good on Abit boards.,Comes from the forums at AMD Zone
Mushkin has no problems on Abit boards

Crucial + Mushkin gave me a hell of a headache on my Abit board. Took 1 hour of plugging and reseating my RAM so that it would be recognized (128 Rev3 and 256 Crucial CAS2). Works great in my MSI tho. It seems Abits are very picky about memory. You've been warned.
