After shipping and tax it still comes out to over $100 and even more if you go by the rules and only get 1 rebate per person.

didn't I tell you a couple of months ago that you'll be able to buy 1GB for $75 before the end of the year ? and to think that some morons attacked me for it and hailed "deals" for twice that. They can only blame themselves now.

:) I was able to get 1GB OCZ DDR400 from them for $65 after rebate. Sweetest deal in 2004!

If anyone has an extra stick of this available, I would be interested in buying a stick. Already have one and looking for a matching stick. Please send me a PM

I cancelled my order and bought a stick from Fry's on the 30th. It was a few dollars more but I have the memory now and it is Mushkin Chips and I already sent in the rebate. My Outpost order was On-Backorder but decided not to wait.

I got an e-mail today 12/4 saying that mine was just shipped. So that should mean that I have plenty of time to get the rebate in the mail by the 14th. I'm glad I decided to hold off for a little before cancelling.

Well, definitely call them around the 8th to make sure if they'll ship them out. If the rebate has to be mailed by the 14th, you might be cutting it close. I also don't know how the receipt will look, as in whether they consider it sold when you place your order or when they ship it. You're probably safe with a printout of your web browser purchase, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

yah, hopefully we won't have any shennanigans about purchase date versus ship date. My order made the cutoff; will be hot the day I get the rebate check back in the mail. thanks again OP!

My stick was delivered today. Was doing the rebate stuff and noticed
"mail completed form, original Fry's recipt and copy of UPC"

Doesnt that sound a little backwards from the norm?

Sometimes I wonder if they do this to mess us up just so they can deny their rebate.

By the way, thanks for the deal picpop.

yep, it does say that - silly rabbits. I guess they'll be getting originals and copies of everything.

I got shafted from a outpost advertised rebate, my rebate was denied because they said the rebate was only good at fry's. Ever since then, I made sure outpost was a qualified for the rebate.

Why would he do that? Since the deal has been OVER for a long time it would be more appropriate to put DEAD in the title.

OP, edit your thread title and mention their is a rebate involved. Your post is highly misleading. COLD.
