Actually it's funny... we do call it "fish and chips" here too, and we even call poutine joints "chip stands" but we rarely actually call fries chips.

Yes, I will sometimes take photos of my own creations...mainly because I'm surprised those times that it works beyond my expectations and know that it will never come out like that again, haha.

Tart tatin is pretty easy, it's the not burning all your skin off when you turn it out that's the hard bit!

One of the few things I make that I actually like. It's a lot of work though, and some of the "higher end" (ex: not Kraft Dinner) store bought premade ones are still better.
