Kinda odd....I'm right handed, and my right side is stronger & more coordinated than the left. But my muscles on the left side are bigger, and more flexible.

My triceps are huge and my biceps are wussy... My arms almost look funny because of it. When I flex, people are like "Where the hell did that come from?" since most people just focus on biceps.

I attribute it to all of the damn pushups I had to do throughout school as punishments and training in sports.. I also attribute it to soccer throw-ins.. I can throw the ball past the far goalpost from out of bounds on the 18. <-- That means far if you don't know soccer field dimensions or how hard it is to throw it far.

Actual Scientific Reason....

The muscles in your right hand are toned due to being used more, thus they don't need to be as big to be as "strong". The opposite is with your left needing bulkier muscles because they aren't toned.

Maybe you are able to manipulate things with your right hand easier therefore using less brute force to accomplish the manipulation. Therefore since you cannot manipulate as easily with your left more power is required which in turn produces larger muscles.

Don't worry Bubba, with your complexion nobody pays attention to your build. Use soap!

This sounds reasonable. My friend has a similar problem. His left trap is MUCH larger than his right muscle. I'm guessing that he has to use much more of his shoulder strength to compensate for a weaker left arm.

I'm right handed and my right arm is slightly bigger than my left side...but I can clearly see the veins in my arms and criss crossing my shoulders/chest on my left side better than my right. Weird...

That's actually a good point.

well, I am left handed myself. while the point of the dominant arm muscle being more toned is well taken, it doesnt have to be that way. my muscles are pretty much the same on both sides. living in a right-handed world, us lefties must adjust to the rigors and nuiscances of using right handed scissors (the lefty ones suck), the spiral on the notebook getting in the way, and everything else thats righty friendly...we have to adjust. id bet that is the case for other lefties too. i could be wrong, but its just what i have observed

I rowed... half the guys have huge right thighs, lats, biceps, and backs... The other half have huge left sides... It's kinda funny actually.

For all of you inserting masturbation references:

Unlike many AT'ers, I actually (gasp) regularly lift weights. Even if I did jack off(which I don't, I actually can get a girl :Q), it would make no difference in my muscle size.

You sound like a guy who feels the need to prove something to a bunch of lazy guys who can't get any girls..

A little insecure are we?

You can mock me if what you are saying is true. But should I stand by while people make comments like that that are facestious? Also, it fits along with my thread, maybe if I didn't work out at all and jerked off alot, it would be true. But since neither of those is accurate, the statement is false.
