Muscle definition?

Just a proper diet and doing cardio. Burning fat just means burning more calories than you intake in (a generality). You might want to start running or hitting the elliptical trainer after workouts.

Pretty much getting the fat off means more aerobic exercise to get your body into fat burning mode.

I'm kinda lazy with my cardio but I tend to run about a mile before I workout to get the heartrate up and try to keep it up for the during of the weight training. It takes around 20minutes of elevated "target" heartrate before your body starts burning fat.

This will prolly slow your mass growth down a lot... your body doesn't like doing two things at once. You either gain lotsa muscle mass or burn that fat... try to do both like me and you'll slow your muscle growth. I'm 5'10" and 162 right now... I'm actually trying to get even more definition and sculpt and put on more mass in specific areas.

Also, drink lotsa water... keep your muscles from retaining too much water and you'll be able to see the muscle fibers more especially when you lower your fat around the muscles. Well, it's a good general idea to drink lotsa water anywho. Since you don't take creatine, that's a non-issue.

ahhhhhhh this is so simple. you just gotta understand the foundations of weighttraining.

first go to dawg school

Diet is the most important thing. if you're eating too many carbs or you're eating sh-t for breakfast or dinner or whatever, you're not going to lose fat. if you say you eat like mad you're going to get bigger, but not cut. you have to be very careful with what you eat. if you're looking to cut, try the t-dawg diet 2.0.... it's not easy, you gotta cut the crap out of your diet and eat cottage cheese and what not... it's the best way to get lean and mean.

I think it all depends of what kind of body type you have. There's 3: mesomorph, ectomorph, and something morp...i can't remember the last one.

Did you start working out for 5 months? You'll get really big in the beginning and depending on the body type you have, lean I assume, you might get really "cut" in another 7+ months or so. You should intensify your workouts and do one specific body part each day.

Ectomorph = hard gainers when it comes to muscle
Mesomorph = easy gainers when it comes to muscle
Endomorphs = "round" bodies that need help when it comes to losing weight
