Muscle Cars

I think that in todays society, PC's are like the Muscle Cars of the past. I get about the same type and amount of enjoyment from tweaking my PC as I do "Tweaking" my 72 Mach1 (I have a lot more fun diving the Mustang than playing GP3 though 🙂 Anyone else have any thoughts on the subject?

Many people went overboard with carburetors that were too big and that actually hurt performance, and the same now happens with PCs and cooling.

Holy $hittle!! 429 Cobra Jet?? Man, if you *EVER* wanna sell that Mach I, pm me. Seriously man, I want a Mach I soooo bad.......*lucky bastard*..............

If computers today=muscle cars long ago, I'm typing on a Vega with a V-6, custom 8track, after market Craigers, and an extra large gas tank.

I would much rather spend time working on my car then a PC but the parts for my car are much more expensive then PC goodies. 🙁

Any 60s Mustang, w/ original paint, and no body work would suit me perfectly... yeah, I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about: The white Mustang w/ it's original paint, not the ones that sit in the garage taht are just for show... the ones that you drive, and get dirty 🙂

Come to think of it, my step mom has a 63 1/2 mustang. White, dont even know what it has.....inline 6? I do know the trannys blown, and she cant find one anywheres to get it fixed. Damn shame too, cause its a nice car!
PS: If anyone has a tranny for a 63 1/2 (64) mustang......

So, if I went down to the local used car lot and bought the GNX that they have in the showroom that has NEVER been titled, I would get the same satisfaction from finding a computer from the Mid-80's that is brand new and booting it up? Hehe.. Naaaa.. I think that GNX would put a bigger smile on my face 😉

That GNX is sitting between a Road Runner and an early 60s Vette that are both in pristine condition..

That's my two pitfalls in life.. Cars and computers. I can run up a bill into the thousands, on either one, in a matter of a few minutes online. Hmm.. I'll go order that turbo and 22" flat screen 😉

I think the idea is that people do to computers today what they did to cars in the early 70's.

It'a a little dirty, and yes, it's white and black, and yes, it's ALL original (Except for tires and brake pads 🙂

It's "Only" got a 351C 🙂 It makes the corvettes from the same period cry though. My Sensei has a 94 Corvette and it'll just about keep up with that until we hit a corner 🙂

Hey, dont get me wrong, the 351 is a sweet sweet engine. But man, for just slam-your-face-back torque.....Oh ya, 429 baby. Hell, I think its the 429...Theres a 427, a 428 and a 429, and I get'em confused.

Maybe it is a 64 1/2.....Cars arent my specialty, computers are 🙂 I do know its the first year they came out with them, with I believe was 64, but this was actually released a wee early, hence 63 1/2...I think.....
