Generally it takes two to road rage. There are a few incidents I've seen where one road rager gets the best of a non road rager. But typically, it takes two assholes to come to this type of a conclusion.
 
What does this have to do with America? Do people in other countries not get overly upset over stupid shit and fight? Oh, that's right. They don't care who gets to the McDonalds first, just who wins in their futball contests.

Cars are viewed as a rite of passage. They're tied to a person's ego. Therefore, if you do anything that can be seen as a threat to or attack on someone's car or their driving, you are now a rival. Weak-minded assholes who lack proper control over their primitive instincts just give in, and the result is just as civilized as a bunch of screaming and fighting baboons.

I guess we should be glad that people like that don't also urinate on things to show ownership.
