Murder Mystery Party

Has anyone ever thrown a murder mystery party?
If so, how did you do it (buy a game, make one up, go somewhere, etc.)?
And what do you recommend?

Start with killing someone. Maybe yourself for wanting to throw a lame ass party.

my daughter does these.a lot, they have fun. she & her friends are all theater freaks - I'm not so sure other people will get into it so much.

she gets her games on ebay and then resells them afterwards. the games are pretty creative.
