It seem that authorities have decided to charge Caylee's mother with Murder. The problem is that no body has been found nor has an alleged weapon. How can you charge for Murder when these clues are not present? I thought one or both were needed to convict someone of Murder. I am not saying the mother is not guilty, she sure has acted as if she had a role to play. I mean if my daughter was missing for months I would be insane not to think is up and would have contacted authorities immediately upon finding out her disappearance. I fear we may be getting to a point though, where we ignore the rule of law and start charging and convicting without the evidence at hand. Here's the article:

Murder Indictment in Caylee Anthony Case

A Florida grand jury issued a sealed murder indictment in the disappearance of missing Florida toddler Caylee Anthony.

Prosecutors did not immediately release the name of the indicted suspect, saying the person has not been arrested yet.

The child?s mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, waited Tuesday more than a dozen miles away. Her attorney said she would turn herself in if she is the person indicted.

The grand jury heard evidence Tuesday about homicide charges against Anthony, including testimony from the child?s paternal grandfather.

There is more on the site. Her father seems to be testifying against her. Still, where's the evidence?

IDK if they 'detected traces' of anything. Although I do know the grandfather of Caylee is testifying that he smelled a rotting corpse coming from the trunk of her mothers car.

University of Tennessee lab tests showed that a human corpse was decomposing in the car. Her daughters DNA was found in the trunk. She acted erratically and made a ton of false statements. Many, many murder convictions are obtained with circumstantial evidence such as this......

Yep, they did find the DNA of her daughter in the trunk. They also found that after Caylee went missing, the bitch went clubbing and made no mention of her lost daughter for WEEKS. She's guiltier than a dog with spaghetti sauce on its snout and missing pasta.

I don't get the mentality of people like that. How do you kill your own daughter then go clubbing? Then not say anything for weeks and when questioned you use a lame excuse "She was at the babysitters"? Wow! Did you call your babysitter and ask where the fuck your daughter was? I would like to see her reasoning for killing her own. Was it a fit of rage because Caylee wouldn't stop crying? Or was it more selfish than that? Like did she kill her to "have her life back"? :|

They would not have gone to the Grand Jury unles they felt that they had enough evidence & testimony to convict.

There is to much publicity surrounding this case for the authorities to take a chance in a mistrial. They have enough evidence to lay a trail right up to the person that they will charge.

Pics of her clubbing on June 20th while claiming to be looking for her daughter.

Also, I heard that her own granpa testified against her in this case. Dam.

Looking at a different angle. There would not be many mother's car's that you would not find DNA in. Think about that. Kids drool, pee, etc,.

So, wouldn't they have to be able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that composition of that specific body took place in her trunk? I don't understand how this new technology that supposedly collects a sample of the air works.

Ok... so you are sitting on the jury and the defense presents the idea that her daughter was kidnapped and Caylee told no one for a month.

Simple question would be "who kidnapped her?"

Unless Caylee answers that question I think she gets the chair, or at least life in jail.

Also, Caylee's search for her daughter matches OJ's search for the 'real' killers. She went searching at places like Target where she also bought a ton of clothes.

Finally, if I was the DA I would offer her a deal. Show us the body and we will spare your life. I actually think a capital case would be easier for conviction. If she is facing death and still can't provide some evidence that her daughter was kidnapped then that whole story would go up in smoke. I think once the reality of the fact that she is facing the chair kicks in she might decide to save her life by talking.

I do not think they cango for M1 and the death penalty without the body or a confession.

Life based on the evidence that has been advertised might be plausible, however, M2 (no prior intention) will probably stick.

I think the evidence that a human corpse had decomposed in the trunk along with a finding of the daughter's DNA is more than mere circumstantial evidence. It's just plain old (inconclusive) evidence.

There were hairs found that had a death line indicating that her daughter was deceased while in the trunk.

This woman is also a felon by way of check fraud.

In general a total scumbag.

There was no body or weapon in the Scott Peterson case either and they found him guilty.
