Multithreaded Forceware drivers for dualcore

Nice find! That would be amazing since I'm purchasing an X2 soon. When these come out I'm sure reviewers all over will be testing how much performance you'll really get. I'm looking forward to that.
 
de Waal expressed some skepticism about the prospects for thread-level parallelism for CPUs. He was concerned that multithreaded games could blunt the impact of multithreaded graphics drivers, among other things.

An excellent point. Non-gaming apps are the ones that really stand to benefit from dual proc/core anyway.....maybe game devs should leave it alone for the GPU to offload some work.
