I had heard of it from a buddy who knows i have two PCs w/ 4 displays (2 on each), & he suggested it to me, since i am always complaining of how slow my USB KVM switches between PCs.

So it sat on my HDD for a while, & finally i got around to trying it out today!

Using networking, it allows for seamless movement between my two PCs.

All i have to do is move the mouse from one display to the next (which is on my secondary PC, & it switches to that PC, all while still maintaining mouse DPI, num lock on, etc.

I am simply amazed at how easy it is to use, & how ridiculously convenient :Q

For those with two machines networked, it's worth a try.

I downloaded another program the other day that claims to do the same thing...I forgot the name of it and haven't been able to try it out yet. I'll update this post tonight when I find out.

Yeah i've heard of Synergy as well, but haven't tried it since i'd also heard Multiplicity was better.

Only thing that's bugging me so far is that my back/forward buttons on my MX518 don't work on the secondary machine for some reason.

Overall though, i am still very impressed.

Been using synergy here for a while, it's great.
Multiplicity looks like the same idea, though with a fancier installer/setup, and no support for any *nix systems :(

Do you have drivers for the mx518 on the 2nd system?
