Was wondering if there was a quick/easy way of adding additional monitor outputs to my PC. I'd like 3 in total in the same room (well, 4 kinda.. 3 regular monitor output, and one s-video).

1: Monitor at my desk.
2: Monitor at my studio, so I can control Final Scratch and other MIDI applications
3: Monitor near my television, so I can control what's displayed on screen.
4: S-Video Out (so I can send what I want to the TV).

I wouldn't be using these simultaneously. I just want 3 different outputs in this room, so I don't have to build 2 extra systems.

Can this easily be achieved? I have 1 AGP slot (being used by a Radeon 9200 with VGA, S-Video, and DVI output. I have some PCI slots not in use. Is it possible to just add additional PCI video cards?

Thanks.

(WinXP SP2, 1GB RAM, ECS KT600 MOBO, AMD Athlon XP 2600+)

in my experience, using the svideo and the 2 ports on the card you will still only get 2 outputs. the svideo will duplicate on of the other ports. so get a pci card that also has 2 outputs also.

Thanks for the reply.. Honestly, I'm not that familiar with the DVI port, and how it works. So you're saying that I can simpley use the DVI port (with the converter) as a second output right off the bat? What do you mean exactly that the svideo will duplicate on the other ports? Thats pretty much what I'm aiming for (I'm going to use a monitor to control whats on the TV, only because the text/directories on windows will be to hard to read coming from the svideo out. The only thing I'm using the TV for is video games/movies). I should still be able to use "extend my desktop" to the TV though, wouldn't I?

And if I had another PCI Video card, I can run both at the same time to different monitors?

I believe this can work, try a video card with 2x DVI outputs and 1x HDMI output. I believe the HDMI runs off a seperate chip so you can have 3 outputs. I am not 100% positive as I usually just use 2x DVI.
