i work in a data center and here we connect to all of our client servers via public ip addresses thru RDP. sometimes i can have 15-20 windows open at once. does anyone know of a utility that will let me put a name in the rdp window instead of an ip address? for example if i connect to a sever with an ip of 67.122.11.93, id like for it to show up as 'client - server name' in my taskbar instead of just an ip address.

thanks

Have you tried using the MMC snap-in for Remote Desktop that comes with the Windows 2003 Admin Pack?

Not sure if it would work in your situation, but couldn't you edit your hosts file to add a name for each of the IP addresses? Then you could just connect to each using the name in RDP.
