does anyone know of any software that will allow you to run windows and linux at the same time = allowing you to switch in between the 2. i know its possible. can you help me on a list. are any of them free? if i dont recieve any responces here i'll try posting in the os forum.

Like everyone says, Microsoft VPC 2004 and VMWare. VMWare is more tweakable and its makes don't consider linux "a cancer" like the softies do.

The "guest" OS (running inside the main OS) uses emulated faked hardware and runs slower than the real OS, so choose which OS is main and which is guest carefully. Speed for interactive applications like a word processor are good, speed of some database-driven applicatins can be fair to poor.
