hey there
this is a bit long to explain but i'll try. quick note though, if you know of a better way i can do this (or even a better idea on what i should do) i'd be glad to hear it.
right now, i have a 20 GB hard drive with 98SE on it. later this summer i'm gonna install WinXP and RH Linux 7.3 (actually, i may install linux sooner but let's just focus on this issue at hand). i want to keep 98SE for now though.
so, what i'm thinking about doing is buying another hard drive, slaving it, and partitioning it. with that drive, i'd install winxp and linux on it. in some way, however, i'd need to install GRUB (i think i'd rather use GRUB for my boot loader) on the C drive with 98SE on it. Can GRUB link to an OS that is on a different drive than itself?
if you have anything you know of, or even any links you can direct me to i'm thankful 🙂.
