Multiple Operating System

After I installed Windows 2000, I installed WIndows XP. Then I decided to delete the Windows XP folder because I didn't want it. But whenever I boot up the option of choosing between 2k/XP still exists, how do I get rid of it? I vaguely recall a file that keeps this information, but I cannot remember the name of the file. Any help is appreciated.

The hidden system file "boot.ini" holds these settings. Be careful, because if you fvck it up, you won't be able to boot at all. :Q

I believe you might also be able to change some of these options through "My Computer" Properties, probably in the Advanced Tab.

im pretty sure there is a safe way to do this... if I recall from my XP/ME days.

Control Panel--> System--> Advanced (Tab) --> Startup and Recovery (Setttings button) ---> Uncheck the box of display operating systems or set time to 0.

Just a VERY important tip, if you want to ever get rid of a program always use uninstall, without it, this slows down programs, takes up HD space, and with an operating system im pretty sure it can cause some problems with programs
