Multiple Monitors on 2 computers

I have 2 computers and 3 monitors in this setup.

On one I have 2 monitors each on it's own videocard. These two monitors of course share the desktop fine.

The 3rd monitor is on another computer. The 2 computers and 3 monitors are connected using Synergy.

From one computer I can run my mouse across all 3 desktops and use the same keyboard on all screens as well, but I cannot stretch one wallpaper across all 3.

Is there any inexpensive software that will accomplish this goal? The only thing I have found is something made by 9X Media that costs $200 just for a single license.

Thx.

If all you're looking to do is "stretch wallpaper" just divide an image up into thirds, saving two thirds to one file and the remaining to ther other. Voila.

Modern onboard graphics can also serve to power a third monitor too. 6150+NVidia card or Xpress 200 + Radeon card and you can use three monitors fairly easily. Of course you wouldn't have a monitor hooked up to the other computer, but the wallpaper would stretch across all three easily.

Yes I will probably go the ghetto route until I come across something. This isn't for anything important so that will be good enough. I saw this picture and was inspired to hook up some old PC's that were collecting dust and see what cool stuff I could do.

So far not much :D
