Multiple Hard drive question

If you have one hard drive as the primary boot device with windows installed on it, and decide to add a second hard drive for storage, does windows have to be installed on it as well? Or will windows just recognize it as just another drive(after formatting)?

Windows gets installed on only one drive. The second drive will be seen by windows as empty once it is properly formatted.

Just another drive...unless you want to get fancy and dual boot or something...
