I'm using Mint Cinnamon 21.x already with the amdgpu driver and the sole display (1080p) connected via DisplayPort (RX 6700 XT) without any issues.
This isn't a high priority (and I wonder if I'm just indulging a 'boys with toys' need here), but some of my workflow (not much admittedly) would benefit from a second display. I don't see much point in having the display on all the time though because I'm fine with a single display most of the time. I haven't done any multi-display management in Linux before though; on Windows I would expect to just change the display config to ignore the second display and switch it off when it's not in use. Is this idea just as doable in Linux?
