multiple desktop capabilities for Window 7

Are there any M/S officially recognized and/or supported software that will give Windows 7 operating system multiple desktop capabilities similar to that which is available for Ubuntu/Linux ?

I believe there are many shareware that provide multiple desktop capabilities (I haven't tried any of them with Win7, though). I even wrote one myself a couple years ago. But I don't think there is any of the officially recognized by MS.

Why do you need a "recognized" one, anyway?
 
I generally find virtual desktops to suck in Windows, since it's not native to the OS/window manager. Regardless, this one seems to be one of the better implementations.
 
The sysinternals one linked above is basic, but works fairly well. I believe nVidia had a tool for it as well. But like Gooberlx2 says, I find them to be pretty lacking since Windows wasn't designed to work that way. For instance, I couldn't find a way to move a window between desktops with the MS tool.
