Also this happened in like Jan 2023. The DOJ opened an investigation in Feb 2023. Its almost july 2023 and they are just now being fired and I don't think anyone has yet been charged.

I mean a guy is shot whilst handcuffed point blank from a gun in his mouth and it takes 6 months to fire the cops?

That's my point. State is so fucked up it took the DOJ to charge them. Are my expectations too high that Mississippi would charge white cops for torturing black people? And why should ANY black person feel comfortable in that state?

Unless I missed something in the article, it looks like the maximum sentence for the current convictions is only 30 years, and only twenty for some of them. That's not right. These guys should never see the light of day again, and in this case I wouldn't be against the death sentence. Put them down, and keep a close eye on their kids just in case they learned to much from dad.
