Multiple Computers - One Keyboard/Mouse - Software Solutions

I'm looking for software that lets me "use two screens on two different computers as if they were connected to the same computer. It even works between different operating systems." (to quote Synergy's site).

I've seen three options
[*]Synergy
[*]Win2VNC
[*]Multiplicity

Obviously, the two free options (Synergy & Win2VNC) appeal to me. Does anyone have any experience with these? Any others? Any recommendations?

I use realvnc and it works well.

I'm a little unclear on what win2vnc is exactly....

It talks about using 2 screens as if they are attached to the same computer, but your post title says one keyboard/mouse...
Do you have multiple monitors?

synergy works great.
just make sure to set the relative positions on both sides.
and its free!

synergy works through mac osx and windows at the same time in my friend's setup. he's about to add a linux box to the mix.
