Yay 34, upper-middle class again. God mormons are retarded. Rember kiddies, only 1 letter away from "moron."

yeah wonderful quiz for a anti mormon site. Love how there is so much anti mormon stuff out there. Where is all the anti catholic quizes or jews or any other religion.

The LDS church is usually subjected to the jokes why because just maybe there is truth to it and people just can't handle it.

That page was a joke and a half.

edit: If you really want to test your knowledge at least find a legit website.

Congratulations!! Your afterlife destination is most likely the Celestial Kingdom.
This prize come with the added bonus of your own planet and eventual godhood.

Looks like the studies I took in Senior Bible paid off. 🙂 Moronism is a bad thing.

Did you have to wear funky golden glasses that were pulled out of a hat in order to see the correct answers? 😛

I am a Christian, and am respectful of others' beliefs. I have many friends who are Jewish, Hindu, Catholic, and Muslim. I find it very interesting to hear about their religions, and I consider their beliefs perfectly valid, as I do my own. However, LDS is the only religion (cult) that I have a problem with. Check out exmormon.org for some interesting testimonies from actual ex-Mormons.

So... you don't have a problem with religions that your own religion has problems with? You don't have problems with religions that blatantly disagree with your own... and, yet, you decide to single out one in particular that isn't any farther off in psycho-land than the others that you curiously don't have a problem with? 😕

Your afterlife destination is most likely the Terrestrial Kingdom.
It's a bit better than earth but it's no Celestial Kingdom.

I don't have a problem with differing religious opinions. Is that wrong? Should I disrespect every idea that is not my own?

What I have a problem with is a religion that oppresses its women members by not letting them become leaders in the church. Not many Mormon women have careers, as their place is to raise their 6+ children. (You have to have a certain number of children to reach a higher level of Heaven. Just population growth propaganda.) I have a problem with a religion that teaches racism. It is documented fact that the LDS church taught its members that African-Americans have dark skin as the "mark of Cain" to remind us that Satan is here on Earth. I have a problem with a religion that requires (not suggests) 10% tithing, and collects income tax statements to make sure you're not cheating the church of its 10%. And if you don't give 10% of your income, you're not allowed in the temple.

So no, I don't have a problem with every religion that differs from my own, just ones that have the characteristics of being a cult.

Okay BillyBob. According to your own religion, if you actually know and believe it, you should have the same problems with the other religions that you named earlier. Either accept them all or deny them all. Double-standards and hipocracy are a bad thing mmmmmkay?

Obviously, you don't know much about Christianity. My religion teaches tolerance and love towards all, even those with differing theological beliefs. Jesus ate with the Jews. Nowhere does it say you must hate everyone who is not a Christian. But it does teach to fight prejudice and oppression wherever it appears, even in the form of a religion. Just because I respect those of other religious beliefs does not mean that I have to accept every cult known to man.

Are you a Mormon? If not, why do you care what I think?

You have a problem with Mormonism, but not with Scientology? Or did you just forget about that one?

First of all, let me commend you for having a Rand quote in your sig. I love Rand.

Maybe I should clarify. I'm not talking about disagreeing with the theology itself. Correct, I disagree with Scientology. This isn't about disagreement. Yes, my beliefs disagree with other religions that are not Christian. But disagreeing is an OK thing. It's not a bad thing to have differing opinions from someone else. I'm talking about one cult that I not only disagree with, but have a real problem with. I think uninformed individuals think Mormonism is just a different religion, with it's own specific twist to it. But if you research objective resources, you will learn how truly oppressive the religion is to its members.

Christianity teaches love for all, but not tolerance for all, as there is no respect for people's practices of worshipping "idols" or "false gods" or are involved in particular sins. I sincerely doubt you have "respect" for other religious beliefs as well, although you may choose to respect and love those who hold such beliefs. There isn't a verse in the bible, old or new testament, that preaches respect or tolerance for different religions. It says clearly that Jesus is considered the way, the light, the good news, and to get to heaven you must know him and deny other gods. If you believe in "respect and tolerance" for other religions, then that is contrary to what the bible teaches.

/EDIT - I see you posted as I was composing this and that clarified some of what I was responding to.

OK, my last post on this thread, as I can feel the flames coming. Feels like I'm in Show Low, AZ right now.

We've all been programmed to be tolerant and accepting of everything. Let's not have any opinions against anything. Just accept everyone's behavior, and the world will be a better place. Well, I encourage you to spend about 30 minutes reading the stories on exmorman.org, and tell me that's not some wrong stuff going on.

jj, you put it well. I am not tolerant of the religious beliefs, but I respect the person who holds those beliefs.

See you in another thread...

<-- Christian

It's not that I shun everyone who isn't a Christian. If that were so, do you think I would be here?

I have problems with many religions. That doesn't mean I go around wearing signs, casting out demons with a little gold cross, and preaching fire and brimstone. I do, however, know how to provide that little seed of doubt in someone else's religion. I have a problem with those religions and if it comes down to it, you bet your ass I'm going to get into a conversation with someone about theology and appologetics.

What I'm saying is this... if you're going to accept Hindu, Catholocism, etc, then you must also accept Mormonism. If you don't accept Mormonism, then you can't accept Catholicism or Hindu. Your religion teaches you that religions that differ with yours are wrong. Obviously you acknowledge that, don't you? Either open your mouth about all of them, or keep it closed about all of them. Last time I checked, hypocracy isn't accepted in Christianity...

i'm sure you can find an anti site for any religion. its sweet hipocrisy for those of one religion to bash the legitimacy of another. or call another religion a cult, talk about calling the kettle black😛

Your afterlife destination will be the Ultimate Kingdom where you will spend eternity deflowering frigid 18-year old Mormon virgins who spent their high school years teasing the entire football team, but never putting out.

Hey, sounds pretty good! Where do I sign up?

Woman are not opressed as you stated. We have a very important role in the church and in our families lives. I have never seen anywhere that I have to have blank number of children. Not eveyone has 6+ kids. I know many families who don't even have kids.

It is suggested one parent stay home to raise the children. What is wrong with wanting parents to raise their own kids and NOT society. I see nothing wrong with it. And many familes have both parents working so they can make ends meet.

You will believe what you want to believe and you will be able to find anti mormon things to support your ignorant ideas.

Why not look at what lds.org has to say or try talking to current members of the church.

I give 10% not because it is required but because it is nothing compared to all the things the LORD has given me. Nothing you have belongs to you in the first place. He allowed you to have it. I have never had to show my tax returns to anyone. I think you have a lot of misinformation and are just putting your foot in your mouth.:disgust:🙁:frown:
